This June, the entire ID team escaped the New York summer heat for our annual company retreat to the electrifying turquoise waters of the Turks and Caicos Islands – where luxury accommodations are in abundance and endless ocean views never disappoint!
Luxury villas were the main focal point of this trip, as we scoured the island for designer homes fit for any celebrity, A-lister or simply any traveler seeking spacious and private accommodations with some extra pampering. The following properties featured today hit every box on our checklist, from lavish interiors and exteriors to full service amenities and attentive staff…

Our first stop – Amanyara.
Located along the secluded, unspoiled coast of Providenciales’ Northwest Point, this peaceful paradise boasts pristine, intimate white sand beaches, serene pavilions with Asian-inspired décor and expansive private villas.
We stayed in the Four Bedroom Beach Path Tranquility Villa (and they mean tranquility!) featuring four individual open-air pavilions sharing a spacious living room, black infinity-edge swimming pool and expansive lounging & dining areas. Plus, our housekeepers, butler and chef were a wonderful complement to our stay!

ID’s Insight: Aside from relaxing at your private infinity pool, we recommend taking a Pilates class in the fully equipped Pilates studio to “re-pattern” and “re-align” your mind and body. Or, get a few rounds of boxing in at the boxing gym for a high-intensity workout!
Next stop and our home for three days, The Shore Club, situated on the sparkling shores of Long Bay Beach.
This state-of-the-art 38 suite resort features five distinct room designs, all elegantly appointed offering contemporary décor and light furnishings creating the ultimate Caribbean-chic ambiance. Along with the exquisite white sand beach, The Shore Club’s three pools provide guests of all ages a perfect place to spend sun-soaked afternoons, either at the adults-only pool, the family pool or the Colonnade pool.

ID’s Insight: For large groups searching for the ultimate in luxury and exclusivity, stay in one of the estate villas (we stayed in the expansive six bedroom villa) – enclosed with a private pool, extensive kitchen and living areas, secluded courtyard and of course, concierge service to help cater to every need.
…Next ID APPROVED locale – Beach Enclave.
Ultra-elite, beachfront living can be found here! Situated on 10 acres of lush tropical gardens and secluded on a stretch of white sand beach on the North Shore of Providenciales, this exclusive beachfront oasis boasts the privacy of luxury homes combined with the amenities of a boutique resort.

Four and five bedroom villas are set atop a cliff offering dramatic ocean views of the North Shore and Princess Alexandra National Park. Ideal for groups and families alike, these luxuriously appointed residences offer the option of having a private chef for a full day or specific meals along with butler service. Who doesn’t like being catered to by an attentive staff 24/7?!
ID’s Insight: For perfect ocean vistas, stay in a beachfront villa, featuring modern décor including wide glass doors that open to private infinity pools and multiple terraces, seamlessly blending the indoor with the out and creating open living spaces for all to enjoy.
Our next stop – The Dunes & The Residences at Grace Bay Club.
On this leg of our luxury journey, half of the team experienced The Dunes, while the others stayed at The Residences. The Dunes are two free-standing villas located on Smith’s Reef, boasting three oceanfront suites including one master suite and two one-bedroom executive pool suites. Indoor spaces with contemporary décor blend harmoniously with the outdoors, where floor-to-ceiling glass doors lead to a fire pit and pool overlooking the striking white sand beach. #heaven

The Residences have a more “luxe-traditional” feel with a collection of three free-standing private beachfront villas situated in a gated enclave, each with five bedrooms and a lavish indoor and outdoor living space. Guests can sit back and relax near the expansive pools overlooking the famed Grace Bay Beach, or lounge on the spacious decks with a glass of champagne.

Upon our arrival to our gala dinner, we began the evening at La Dolce Vita, Grace Bay Resorts’ designer nine bedroom villa overlooking the striking shores of Long Bay Beach, where our night kicked-off with cocktails, h’ordeuvres and even mini foot massages!
After sunset cocktails were enjoyed, we took the 10 minute drive to Grace Bay Club‘s main pool where the gala took place and we were greeted by the children of the Enid Capron Primary School singing their national anthem, along with a live band and Junkanoo dancers dressed in vibrant festive costumes! Talk about an island welcome…
Culinary creations were designed to emulate a night market in different stands featuring BBQ, grilled fish, fresh ceviche, conch fritters and much more… Our friends at Grace Bay Resorts never disappoint with a fabulous time!

Lastly, it wouldn’t be an ID approved destination without experiencing some adventure and fun!
Here are some island favorites…
Half Day Snorkel Boat Excursion:
For a fun day in the sun, immerse yourself in the turquoise waters of the Caicos Cays for snorkeling and a boat tour around the island with Kenard Cruises. If you’re lucky, you might even get a visit from Jojo, the wild dolphin! Then, stop for lunch along the way at Da Conch Shack, serving up the island’s best local conch. The conch fritters, fish tacos and Johnny fries were divine!
A trip to Turks and Caicos couldn’t be complete without visiting our favorite students from the Enid Capron Primary School, a local primary school adopted by our ID Travel Group Foundation For Better Living. Upon arrival we were welcomed with song and dance and some instruments too!
The ID Travel Group Foundation, was proud to gift printers, Wi-Fi routers and school supplies for all the students to assist in their studies.
